Of the 20 Archdiocesan students who made the All-Catholic Team, 13 of them are Ryan students.

Ryan’s Georgiy Dulgiyer, Kyle Matthews, Primo Wang, Jim Qin, Gary Gao, Jeremy Ren, Sarah Zhang, Reid Chen, Zoe Dong and Annabell Liang led the Ryan A and B teams to victory.

Sister Alice Hess, IHM, the longtime mathletes coach, credited co-captains Russell Andrews, Joseph Dantes and Marissa Rivera and the rest of the team.

“They are a coach’s delight, for they want to be champions and are willing to work hard to achieve it,” she said.

Under the leadership of junior co-captains Jacqueline Burke and Primo Wang, the Ryan mathletes are already preparing for next year’s championship. ••
